Lamine Yamal Shuts Down €120 Million Offer, Vows to Stay at Barcelona

Rising star Lamine Yamal has reaffirmed his commitment to FC Barcelona, stating that he has no intention of leaving the club and aspires to become a legendary figure at the Camp Nou.
In an interview with El Hormiguero, the 16-year-old midfielder was asked if he would be interested in receiving €120 million, which is considered his Transfermarkt value. Yamal firmly rejected the offer, explaining that it would require him to leave Barcelona, a move he is unwilling to make.
“No, because it means I’d leave Barcelona and I never want to leave this club, as I want to become a legend,” Yamal said.
Yamal has been widely praised for his exceptional talent and has drawn comparisons to Barcelona legend Lionel Messi. While he appreciates the comparisons, the young player acknowledged that it is impossible to reach Messi’s level.
“I appreciate people comparing me with Leo Messi as he’s the best… but it’s impossible to reach his level,” he added.
Yamal’s declaration of loyalty is a significant boost for Barcelona, who have been working to secure the future of their promising young talent. His decision to remain at the club is a testament to his belief in the project and his desire to contribute to the team’s success.
